About Ananta Atlas: method and sources
An independent fan reference where every claim shows its status and source.
We are not NetEase and not Naked Rain. We read official pages and first-hand interviews, say what they say, and mark everything else as unknown.
Why this site exists
Ananta is a free-to-play open-world game from NetEase's Naked Rain studio. Information is scattered across store pages, trailers and interviews in several languages, and some of what circulates is wrong. This site collects what can be sourced, labels how solid it is, and will add a collectible map once the game is out.
What counts as a source
- Official: the NetEase and Naked Rain websites, store pages (Steam, PlayStation Store, App Store, Google Play), official YouTube and Discord, and NetEase press releases.
- Media: first-hand interviews and hands-on reports from outlets such as Famitsu, Automaton, TechRadar and RPG Site.
- Not used as sources: fan wikis, databases and guide sites. They can be right, but when they cannot point to an official page we cannot check them.
Source links carry rel="nofollow noopener" and point only to official pages and first-hand media. We do not copy their text: everything on this site is written in our own words, with short quotes only where the exact wording matters.
Rules we follow
- A fact marked Verified has a linkable official source. A media-only claim is at most Reported.
- Where reliable sources disagree, we show both and mark the row Conflicting. See the corrections list.
- Unknowns stay in the tables as Not announced, so they can be filled in later without moving the page around.
- We do not publish predicted redeem codes, tier lists or unofficial rosters.
- Every status change is written to the changelog.
Images, logos and trademarks
Ananta is a trademark of NetEase. This site shows official images and trailer thumbnails to identify the game, always credited © NetEase and never used as our logo or brand. We use no extracted game assets. NetEase publishes no press-kit page or reuse licence, so we remove any image at the rights holder's request. The Ananta Atlas logo is our own.
How we will build the map
No official map has been published, so the map pages are an honest empty state. After launch every marker will be placed by hand with our own screenshot and a one-line route. Collection progress will be saved in your browser, not on a server. We will not draw streets before they exist.
Corrections and contact
Spotted a mistake or have an official source we missed? Send it to the address on the contact page. Corrections that change a status are logged publicly.
Status labels
Every claim on this site carries one label. Colour is never the only signal: each label has its own shape and its own word.
Sources
Official sources and first-hand media only. Links open the original page. We self-host only the official images used for identification and the trailer thumbnails, with credit.
